What would be an Airial without animals ?
We made the choice to welcome on the Domain animals that we particularly cherish.
Ulysse, Loulou and Roc, our horses which watch over the Airial since the beginning.
Our hens, our geese and the two small dwarf goats animate the Airial for the biggest joy of the children and the grown-ups.
Our two ponies (Luna and Kinou) watch over our three last arrivals : Buz, Chico and Tony, adorable dwarf donkeys...

TheAirial des Monges, located in a setting where nature reigns, is the ideal place to relax and take a break. Our gîtes (group gîtes), with their wellness activities, such as the spa, offer you the possibility to relax in the shade of the oaks. If the spa of the Domain is accessible to all, three lodgings, the Romantic Chalet, the Nature and Relaxation Gite and the Maisonnette du Lac have their own private spa.

The sauna will allow you to spend a convivial and stimulating moment during your stay.

From the Domaine, you will have access to several hiking trails that will take you through the forests of the Landes de Gascogne and the rural landscapes of the South Gironde. Itineraries like the one of the Moulins du Barthos, will make you discover the rural landscapes and the heritage of the region. On foot, on horseback or by bike, you can choose the way you want to walk along these paths. It is possible to rent bikes in the area.

Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the Domaine's pond.

Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of the Domaine's pond to get out their rods and bait. If you have a fishing card, you can cast your line into the pond (category I). The pond is accessible to all residents and lends itself perfectly to a moment of peace and quiet in the middle of nature whether you are a fisherman or not.

The protected ornithological reserve of the lake of La Prade, 5 km from Bazas, shelters an exceptional flora and fauna.

The protected ornithological reserve of the lake of La Prade, located at 5 km from Bazas, shelters an exceptional flora and fauna. Embedded in the middle of the hills, the immense water reservoir offers to the amateurs a peaceful space for the observation of the birds. A large colony of grey herons has taken up residence here, living alongside pairs of great crested grebes. Moreover, the hills around the lake are part of the priority sites of the Gironde for dry grasslands with orchids. A marked footpath and educational facilities facilitate the observation and discovery of all the species listed. Fishing pontoons and picnic tables are available.

The Imaginaterre
The Cercle des Imaginaterres network is the result of a partnership between the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park and the territories involved in the Eco-Destination project initiated by the New Aquitaine Region.

Cranes of Arjuzanx
Located on the territory of 4 Landes communes (Arjuzanx, Morcenx, Rion des Landes and Villenave), the Arjuzanx site covers 2,679 ha. It was born from the exploitation and rehabilitation by EDF of a lignite mine.
